I am a hostage and I have been a hostage for a little over twenty long and painful years. I have a fire in my eyes for truth and justice. My heart and mind are reaching out strongly to caring and helpful people who understand how it feels to be wrongly accused and stripped of your freedom. Forcefully taken away from your loved ones and thrown into a dark prison cell to rot wrongfully for the rest of your earthly life. This is what happened to me but in my heart I trust and believe truth can be found to overcome this wrongful act.
6/1/98 – I was wrongfully arrested on the falsified allegation made by those following the instruction of a former Australian criminal. At the police station where I was taken I made a statement the very same day and the allegation was withdrawn and I was released. A few days later the same Australian criminal led people to make false allegations against me. The Australian himself assisted police in arresting me and became a listed prosecution witness.
Before my first court appearance, strangely, two more fabricated, falsified statement turned up which the police in charge of my case state that I made dated 10/1/1986 and 11/1/1986. I only made the 6/1/98 statement and the two statements which the police claim I made were fabricated and false. I was not even in the same location where they were made.
After testing the three statement numerous timed linguistic expert Professor Graham Nixon offered his professional explanation saying that if I am the person who made the 6/1/1986 statement then I cannot be the same person who made the other two statements.
Mr Robert Radley, Forensic handwriting and document examiner completed an ESDA test on the two fabricated statements and found that the cover page had been written after the second page on one. The starting time was the same as the completion time on one.
Numerous pages had been rewritten. Some pages had been rewritten from the rewritten pages.
The police, well after this forensic evidence was located, stated that then it was common practice to write the cover page later to save time. How could this act in any form or way to save time if it is written afterward? The police also stated that, in those days, it was common practice for the police to pass notes to one another. If this is so then where are the notes now which I have never seen/
I was convicted on re-trial and sentenced to life in prison with a tariff of then years and I have been fighting for justice from day one and will do until my dying day as I have committed no crime in England. I do have a past criminal record and was an International criminal and this, I feel, may be why the police fabricated the evidence against me as they blatantly cared more for results than truth.
Before all this I was doing fine, living in Richmond Hill and received income from looking after two hotels as a security person. Yet, I am still a hostage. The police also took also took almost thirty different items to Forensic Science Services and after the FSS tested all the items at their Birmingham laboratory they found no incriminating evidence against me. The police also arranged for the Australian criminal to be deported before he had appeared at court and he was a listed police witness.
At the time of my arrest there was a new Police and Criminal evidence Act. The police seemed to be above the law as they took no notice of this as I did not have a solicitor present and the interviews were not taped. The newness of PACE is no excuse for this. I was advised by my QC at Southwark Crown Court not to question the integrity of the police. That QC is now a judge and did not rightfully defend me as I could not challenge the police evidence and the prosecutor therefore easily got a conviction.
