I forgot to add how surprised i was by the small number of photographers and journalists covering this event. The Gaza demo on 10/01 was full of photographers even though the events in both countries are relatively similar. Journalists are quite a selective bunch aren't they?

was it really 100.000 people turning up at that demo? the general photo of the crowd in this report definitely shows a much smaller number of people that a hundred thousand.

anyway, just pointing this out for the sake of accuracy.

curious

The photo doesn't show the whole demonstration because by the time i got to the bridge, from which i took this shot, a large part of the demo had already gone past.
I've based the 100,000 on the information by one of the speakers at the end of the demo.
