ex tyre dealer peter ambler .thought by buying retread tyres he was helping the enviroment out of 234 purchased from kingpin in shropshire 67 were faulty ,.some were sold on and fell to bits others would not ballance ,.the firt batch returned to kingpin were lost /norefund by kingpin /others sent by mail order .were told to return them at thier own cost .not worthwhile .mr ambler paid the customers. out of his own pocket / bought more .had them examined by tyre expert s told not to sell them .mr ambler stopped the cheque £2140,demanded /kingpin collected them .some where collected .a promise of a refund .unfortuneaitly .mr amblers mum 92 was rushed tohospital with a stroke .he sat by her bed .until she died at a much later date..with other major issues .mr ambler took ill //kingpin brought a case against mr ambler ..for stoping payment .although kingpin had a choice to collect really faulty goods ...these tyres had no date codes cracked sidewalls .burn marks badly repaired rims ect all in all faulty .yet mr ambler has been convicted .for these tyres which are dangerous .could have ben bad accidents .the judge said she knew nothing about tyres when shown phoets of the tyres ./at the end of the day mr ambler who is a member of foe .and believes in buying green .and been on many f,o,e demos ,said going green can endanger lives and be costly .and also be left with a load of scrap tyres never used .he now has other idea.s .a very harsh lesson for a man concened with safety of other and the enviroment . has anybody else had kingpi tyres i hope not .thank you louise
