We are now accepting donations for the campaign as the lab plans draw closer.

Donations will be spent on campaigning materials such as leaflets, posters, letters, stamps, envelopes etc. In the event that the lab planning permission is not applied for or granted we will fight the second proposed lab fro Camden on the Hampstead Road close to the Regents Park Estate.

Any left over funds from the campaigns will be donated to youth facilites in the deprived Camden area.

For those who don't know about the campaign, there are plans to build a deadly virus containment facility and animal testing lab on a deprived Camden Council house estate that needs homes and community facilities. The lab could be a level 3 facility which means that it could contain viruses & disease such as anthrax and bird flu. Foot and mouth disease was leaked from similar govt facility Pirbright in Surrey. Such a leak close to major transport hubs would be catastrophic. The lab will test on animals such as cats and dogs. The lab plans have been criticised by MI5, MPs, residents and local businsses.

The government also sent out emails to people who signed this petition.

So, it seems that the govt might over ride / over rule any decision made by Camden Council to oppose planning permission.

AR people should also be aware that Camden Council gave SHAC a permit for a stall in Camden and are not "baddies".

According to this week's Camden New Journal work has begun at the Brill Place site although the project does not yet have planning permission. Northwest Holst are soil engineers who are carrying out "exploratory works" according to the CNJ.
