A new year, and a new opportunity. The regional funding allocation process is underway. This is when each region decides which transport projects should be allocated money from the budget
This year the North West region is 35% over budget, thanks to the ever-increasing costs of road schemes like Mottram Tintwistle. We're asking the region to withdraw funding for the scheme and divert the money to environmentally sustainable alternative, like the mersey tramway, and other public transport schemes.
