Cow sign anti-fur pledge
NAR | 24.01.2009 23:57 | Animal Liberation
Cow vintage clothing shop in Hockley has signed an anti-fur pledge agreeing not to sell fur (first or second-hand) now or in the future.
Following the example set by their sister shops in Sheffield and Birmingham, Cow agreed to remove all fur garments from the shop floor after only 15 minutes of demonstrating by Nottingham Animal Rights.
In addition, they signed an anti-fur pledge today, and will consider a variety of ways to dispose of all the current stock of fur, such as donating to an animal or homeless shelter.

I wish I had been there.
Well done. Sadly, I never received a response to my letter to Cow.

The majority of the public are opposed to the use of fur, but it takes committed, caring individuals to get these stores to cease sale.
Job well done :)
