Over the years we have seen towns ,villages, being reclassified in to new countys, oswestry some years ago was in wales, in shropshire these days, LLangollen, is in denbighshire.
Clwyd became wrexham county borough.
Shopping centres build with total disregard to the locals.
and again a plan which the public have not been informed on or a consultation is nearly at the end.have we a voice to be heard,have we a say?

The West Cheshire Sub Regional strategy has been adopted by Wrecsam,
Denbigshire and Flintshire Councils, as well as the Welsh Assembly
Government. It aims to create a new sub region and to merge North
East
Wales with the North West of England in terms of Housing, transport,
employment, economic regeneration and waste. It aims to essentially
create a new county with its own identity and will see a massive
influx of commuters into North Wales, as well the continuation of
economic development to encourage in migration and the erosion of our
welsh Identity.


If you want to know why we've been swamped by commuter estates,
shopping centres and supermarkets, this is it!If you want to know why
the trafffic has become so unbearable, why the waiting list at the
hospital, doctors and dentists are so long, this is the reason.


This is not a natural process or simply cross border links, it is a
deliberate attempt to socially engineer our communities, it will
continue to push up house prices, put pressure on our local services,
change our political structure and erode our language and Identity.


We have a right to be Welsh and we do not want to be part of the
North
West of England. We have our own identity, culture and history. We
will not stand by and watch it wiped out by councils and developers
who see pound signs before people.


WE CALL ON THE PEOPLE OF WALES TO MAKE YOUR VOICES HEARD.
