Film Night: Dealing And Wheeling In Small Arms

Small World Cinema and NSPM present a film night about the international trade in small arms. The feature presentation is Dealing And Wheeling In Small Arms, a documentary about the uncontrolled spread of small arms, legal and illegal, from Europe into the war zones of Africa. This will be accompanied by "promotional break" consisting of short pro- and anti-gun videos. The films will be introduced by a speaker from Notts Anti-Militarism, and there will be a post-film Q&A for those who are interested in finding out more about the arms trade and opposition to it.




There are two opportunities to catch this film night:

* On Wednesday February 11th it will be presented by Small World Cinema at the Sumac Centre, 245 Gladstone St, Nottingham NG7 6HX. Food and bar available from 19:00; presentation begins at 19:30.

* On Thursday March 5th it will be presented by NSPM at the University Of Nottingham. Presentation begins at 19:00 in the Training Room, lower ground floor, Portland Building, University Park.

p.s. Don't be put off by the Dutch subtitles on the trailer on the Dealing And Wheeling website. The film is mostly in English, with English subtitles where necessary.

The March 7th screening, presented by NSPM, will actually be held in the Training Room on the lower ground floor of the Portland Building (not room C11 as previously announced).
