A massive police operation encircled Trafalgar Square on Saturday as over 500 police officers tried to prevent a march to the Israeli Embassy, preferring to cause disruption to the West End by blocking roads.

It might be wise if going to the Israel embassy this saturday to go directly there rather than go to the rally first at Trafalgat Square and get agro from the police.

like Starbucks who donate to illegal Israeli settlement charities.M&S who buy roughly 240 million annually from Israel, as well as BBC who have lost credibility in the eyes of the world over extremely biased reporting on Gaza.

No one talked of a riot, there wasn't one.

People were prevented from marching to the Israeli embassy, and the police stopped them by force, they didn't even bother to attempt to use legal means to ban the march.

I hate to say it but...

I've been spending hours on end trying to find some connection between Starbucks and Israel, i couldn't.
There is no reliable source to indicate this, infact, everything that was claimed about Israel/starbucks policy has been discredited. Their CEO is a zionist, but he is not an ultra zionist, he calls for a two states solution based in "mutual cooperation". I don't know where the claim that he is giving money to settlements come from.
It's true, he is a capitalist, and it would of been very convenient to have Starbucks as a front for opposition to Israel too, but... the only connection is that they are capitalist as far as I can tell.
BTW, if anyone can find anything that connects the two, I would be happy to be proven wrong about this.
With this in mind, they are still Starbucks and are still doing very nasty things around the world, just not in Israel it seems.

why starbucks?

dogs

i´ve been on a million demos in london (well several dozen) and can´t remember seeing dogs used so frontline. why now?
well for one it might well be that given that dogs are considered an unclean animal for many islamics that the pigs see this as one way of keeping the horde at bay.
tho then again might be some other reason

no body in particular
