This shows up how racist people are: Our civilisation has murdered millions of Africans for their natural resources yet somehow it is Jews who still get the blame for world conflict, even though the death toll in that part of the world is comparitively miniscule - after all these years, even now it is still the Jews who are used as the whipping-boy of globl capitalism, even though global capitalism is generally run by Anglo-Saxons, it is the Jews who are described as "Nazi-like", when it is developed-world corporations who are raping the shit out of Africa.

This is racism: the idea that some peoples lives are worth more than others, and it still holds sway- a million Africans is worth a thousand Palestinians, who in turn are worth, say, a hundred Brits. We're all responsible for this mentality, we can blame the media but the information is out there if you choose to inform yourself.

The Congo war has killed nearly 5 million people over the decades but it has not actually been so massively aided and abetted by the most powerful country in the world with active assistance from us in the way that Israel has always been. Remember too that the US gives more aid to Israel - much of which is spent on their military - than the US gives to the entire continent of Africa which is utterly shameful. Yes our evil corporations are willing to grab minerals like cobalt, tantalum, gold, tin, copper, diamonds to feed our lust for technology and sparkly things knowing that they are probably funding murderous rebels. However none of these rebels have "friends of" groups of MPs in the way that Israel has. The reporting is totally different too. The congo war just doesn't really get reported at all whereas Israel's control of the world's media is so all powerful that many people actually think and are encouraged to believe that Palestinians are the aggressive occupiers.

So what I'm really saying is that it's shameful that the Congo war is so under reported whereas the Palestine/Israel war is reported via a continuous torrent of lies coming from Israel that western media channels just unquestioningly forward on to us without questioning the truth or origins of the conflict. Remember when Nigeria executed activist Ken Sarowiwa and ten others? Britain then shamed Nigeria by suspending it from the commonwealth over this whereas we still have full diplomatic relations with and trade with Israel. This is what really infuriates so many people - our politicians always see Israel as being a perfectly respectable country instead of the pariah state it should be seen as.

Sam - Do you have a computer? A phone? A TV? A games console? Anything electronic?

We're all complicit in the genocide of Africans. For example the launch of the Playstation 3 caused tantalum prices to skyrocket and kicked off more fighting. Yet there were no calls for a consumer boycott of the PS3, no Latuff cartoons depicting Japanese executives as the new Nazis, no solidarity campaigners travelling to Africa to save the people from the bloodthirsty militias.

You are taking the piss.'People' are not blaming 'the jews'. There is a difference between being Jewish and being a Zionist. By the way Israel has 2 main industires ( besides land theft ) - military and diamonds ( including conflkict ones from Africa ). Anyway the mainstream media is blaming everything on Hamas like you haven't noticed. So FUCK OFF.
