Also this week there is a picket of M&S on Northumberland Street tonight (Thursday) and every Thursday from 6-8pm (shame about the clash with the BBC protest, we really need to improve communication to avoid this in future), and following the rally on Saturday there will be a rolling picket of key supporters of Israel on the British high street, including:

- Lloyds TSB (who have attempted to shut down the operations of Interpal, the largest UK charity providing relief to the people of Gaza),
- Marks and Spencer (the biggest British corporate sponsor of Israel)
- and stockists of Caterpillar clothing (who also build the armoured bulldozers used as a weapon and tool of collective punishment against the Palestinian people)

Also a week on Friday (23rd Jan) there will be a major protest called by Tyneside PSC outside the Labour Party constituency dinner of Foreign Secretary David Miliband, which will have as it's 'guest of honour' Defense Decretary John Hutton. Meet 6.30pm outside South Tyneside College, South Shields, or meet at Chichester Metro from 6pm.
