Pak Store Forest Fields Proposal Withdrawn

Following a well attended public meeting called by the Forest Fields Improvement Association on Monday 12th January, it was revealed the next day that the proposal to open a major food store in Forest Fields had been withdrawn.
There were concerns expressed that the proposal threatened the viability of well established, community-led businesses in the neighbourhood, as reported at

It is assumed that a lobby of local councillors planned for Saturday need not now go ahead.
