Sumac Craft and DIY Skillshare
Skill share | 12.01.2009 16:14 | Education
The Sumac Skillshare is back with monthly one day skillshare events around a theme. We kick off on January 31st with the Craft and DIY skill share.
The Skillshare has run free workshops at the Sumac for over a year based around practical skills that help people live more sustainable lives. It is a community project with all organisers and workshop-givers giving their time for
free.
This year we are introducing a discussion workshop on each skillshare day to talk about the issues around the chosen topic. These should be lively interactive discussions using popular education techniques to get them going and keep them interesting!
We will also be providing tea, cake, and a nutritious lunch for donations (this will help us cover the costs of the day).
All workshops are at the Sumac (245 Gladstone St, Forest Fields, Nottingham: for directions see http://www.veggies.org.uk/sumac/map.html), and as always, free (although donations to keep it going are very welcome - and needed:-)). Most workshops you just turn up, but some are limited numbers so you need to book by emailing us or calling 07944889580.
