An estimated 80 people turned up in all, which is a lot for a small Cornish seaside town in January. The event had the support of a number of local churches and organisations, and those present included reporters from the West Briton, the Falmouth Packet and Radio Cornwall, and the Mayor of Penryn. £149 was raised for the Red Cross Emergency Appeal, and there was sufficient enthuseasm to start up a group, and hold another demo next Saturday (17th Jan, 10am-12noon on Falmouth Moor).
