Workers at Camden Council services have not been told of the plans to build a deadly "Super Virus Lab" on their doorstep. there are plans to build a deadly virus containment facility across the raod from Camden Town Hall. The lab will test on animals. Members of Stop Camden Animal Lab went into the Camden Council Library and offices to hear that staff did not even KNOW about the lab & protests.
The backers behind the deadly lab are : MRC, UCL, Wellcome Trusts and NIMR whose own scientists have spoken out against the lab plans.

Foot and mouth disease was leaked into the water supply from government facility Pirbright. A similar leak in central London woyuld be catastrophic. The lab will hold deadly pathogens such as anthrax and Bird Flu. The 1918 Flu pandemic was caused by mutated Bird flu according to recent research.
Please contact Unison and ask them to support Council workers in opposing planning permission for the deadly lab which will also be across the road from Unison offices.
