Over 600 Palestinians have been killed, thousands more injured and over a million without water or electricity.

Mass struggle needed for liberation!

Open public forum at Oxford Town Hall - 7.30pm Thurs 15th Jan

More than 1.5 million people live in the 'open air prison camp' that is Gaza. For the last sixteen months the blockade of the Israeli regime has intensified the nightmare - a majority of the population are unemployed and suffering from malnutrition. Now the 'prison guards' are bombing and invading the prison - resulting in the deaths of many hundreds of Palestinians, including children.

Over 600 Palestinians have been killed, thousands more injured and over a million without water or electricity.

As a UN human rights monitor put it: "Israel is committing a shocking series of atrocities by using modern weaponry against a defenceless population - attacking a population that has been enduring a severe blockade for many months."

The miltary onslaught must be stopped now! End the blockade and occupation and escalate the anti-war demonstrations and initiate workers’ actions.

Tonight in Oxford over 400 people turned out in solidarity with the people of Gaza.

Come along on Thursday 15th 2009 at 7.30pm to a Public Meeting at Oxford Town Hall to hear more, engage in discussion and plan future protests in Oxford.
