Stop The Camden Danger Lab Facebook Group - Join for ACTION!!

Stop The Camden Danger Lab | 04.01.2009 14:42 | Animal Liberation | Bio-technology | Social Struggles | South Coast

There are plans to build the World's largest ever high level virus containment facility and animal testing lab in Camden. The lab consortium backing this have been criticised at goivt level, by MI5, by MPs, by councillors, local businesses, resdients and the ALF. It does not yet have planning permission. When this is applied for we will be taking ACTION!!!! Join Facebook Group to take part!.

One of the backers behind the lab are the UCL ...these guys have Huntingdon Life Sciences customers on campus. We look froward to hearing from any students from UCL who want to take part in ACTION.
The lab is likely to be a level 3 facility which means it could contain anthrax and Bird Flu, the 1918 Flu pandemic was caused by a mutated from of Bird Flu which killed 40 million people. This was before the days of the Channel Tunnel and the underground.
The NIMR scientists have spoken out about security fears as have MI5.
This has to be the stupidest idea EVER that Big Pharma have come up with.

The lab does not yet have planning permission - please oppose.

When the planning permission is applied for we will be taking action at Camden Town Hall, Judd Street, close to the British Library, nearest tube and trains are Kings Cross and Euston.

We need as many people as possible to turn up at the Town Hall for this.
