As Israel carries out its long planned invasion of Gaza, tens of thousands gather in London to voice their anger at the tragedy which will now take place in the region.

They gather at Embankment prior to marching to Parliament, along Whitehall and onto Trafalgar Square. They are joined by British Jews, some who march with them and some who appear for other reasons.

After listening to speeches they then move onto the Israeli embassy at Kensington where police officers dressed in riot armour attempt to contain them in a small pen. Tempers flare as the evening wears on but the crowd successfully make it to the gates of the embassy to continue their long running opposition to the one-sided conflict currently waged by Zionists in Israel, the US and the UK.
