BBC1 ITN St Pancras Eurostar Deadly Bio Hazard Leak Fears Over Camden Bio Lab

BBC1 ITN St Pancras Eurostar Deadly Bio Hazard Leak Fears Over Camden Bio Hazard | 04.01.2009 06:52 | Animal Liberation | Bio-technology | Social Struggles | South Coast | World

St Pancras Eurostar restaurants and cafes are potentially at risk from contamination from the plans to build a deadly bio hazard lab alongside the station which connects to the Channel Tunnel. Camden councillors have repeatedly warned that the lab poses a risk from contamination or terror attack. The lab could be level 3 which means it would contain deadly contagious pathogens.

The lab does not yet have planning permission and is opposed locally. MPs, councillors, locals, journalists and many more people have opposed tha lab on health and safety grounds. There are fears the lab could be targeted by terrorists and animal rights activists.
The lab could be a level 3 facility which means it could conatin deadly bio hazards such as anthrax and Bird Flu. The 1918 flu pandemic which killed 40 million people was caused by a mutated form of bird flu.
Any virus leak into the water supply for example could contaminate food and water and might not be detected until it is too late.
Foot and Mouth disease was leaked from Pirbright in Surrey into the water supply causing nationwide devastation and destruction.
Please contact the following cafes, restaraunts and food retailers inside St Pancras Eurostar and ask them to oppose planning permission for the lab which has not yet been applied for by the lab consortium. You will find this more efficient than contacting St Pancras Eurostar via their PR firm London Communications Agency who are in fact the same PR firm working for the lab consortium....and the Metropolitan Police. Please note also that the lab consortium did not inform or consult the British Transport Police who in the event of an emergency such as virus leak or terror attack would have to eveacuate or quarantine the transport stations such as St Pancras Eurostar, Kings Cross and Euston which have already been devastated by 7/7 and 21/7.
