Lancaster Solidarity with Gaza | 03.01.2009 18:16
All around the world people are taking to the streets in spontaneous outrage against the Israeli state massacre of people in Gaza. In the small northwest English city of Lancaster, people also made their own protest...
These photo's show the hastily organised protest by people in Lancaster on Sat 3rd Jan. Lancaster is a small city in the northwest of England. The protest was attended by local people of many different backgrounds, and united local Jews, Muslims, Christians, Socialists, anarchists, Greens, Trades Unionists, Gays, working people, students and Saturday shoppers! This is just the start. Israel must stop its violent oppression of the Palestinian people.
