Homeland Security

Civil authorities around the world are having to deal with new and growing challenges in border control, internal security, protection of critical infrastructure and information control.

SELEX GALILEO provides the solutions they need, based on cutting-edge technologies and sub system integration expertise. Already a leading supplier of radar, infrared and acoustic sensors, we are also investing heavily in detectors for explosives, chemicals, and biological and nuclear substances. More importantly, a particular area of expertise lie within integrating these technologies. We develop systems using best-of-breed products, whether our own, from our sister companies in the Finmeccanica Group, or from other suppliers altogether.
Our systems can be found on land, sea and air platforms, integrated with communication and processing technologies, and backed up by comprehensive support mechanisms, to provide complete solutions to our customers' needs. Where once we provided predominantly military systems, we are now increasingly being asked to supply systems to support police, customs immigration coastguard, intelligence and other civilian services.

Our complete-system approach ensures that we provide well-designed, well-supported solutions; ones that not only detect threats, but communicate and interpret the data to support decision makers in their response.

our blurb - love us pls lol

The best "propoganda"

Is composed of true but very misleading statements.

I rather suspect that pretty much ALL enterprises have restricted access, that you can't wander around into all areas just because you are an employee of that company. I'm a retired senior systems analyst who once worked for one of the world's largest "financials". Just because I had a "production log on" didn't mean that I could just wander down to the rooms where the where the hardware lived. Couldn't even just walk in to the printer rooms. My badge not good for such restricted areas, have to get taken in if a reason to be there.
