It's Decision Time For Nepal's Monkeys!

Gateway to Hell | 17.12.2008 17:57 | Animal Liberation | Bio-technology | Ecology | World

The new 'Wildlife Act' has been published although details of the actual breeding laws remain unpublished at this stage. There is currently a lot of speculation in the Nepalese media but NO hard facts.

This is the situation:-

*310 monkeys are imprisonend in one breeding facility, (see the campaign video).

*At least 30 monkeys have died so far at the farm because of neglect and incompetence.

*Another farm has been built, BUT so far no monkeys are imprisoned there.

*The new breeding law is being decided right NOW!

*NO monkeys will be exported from Nepal until a firm decision is made on the new breeding law.

The situation for Nepal's monkeys is one of EITHER professional care and release back to nature, OR to be enslaved as baby machines in the SFBR's breeding facility in Texas, USA. We still have time, but we must act now!

Be creative, keep resisting and of course keep your news reports coming about your efforts to save Nepal's monkeys. If, (for example), you've been exposing Nepal's dirty secret by spamming travel forums or collecting signatures in your town centre. Tell us and we'll be sure to tell them!

It's now or never for the first 310 monkeys...DO NOT let this happen without a fight!!!
