with all due respect, all i can see is plain clothed police men talking to uniformed policeman. Didn't see any rioters.

Plain clothes police don't wear helmets and hold random metal bars that use to break windows from the small shops. Thats what the show presenter is asking to the minister of social security. Is that a new police squad we are not aware of? How can you convince the small shop owners that demonstrators and not these men broke their shop? It is very clear what is happening on the video because these mysterious men are very relaxed and have conversations with the uniformed men.

It wouldn't surprise me for one moment if the police were liaising with far right elements in Greece in their attacks on students and workers. However looking at this footage from an un-political eye it just looks like undercover police wielding metal bars. If you were to show this footage to someone who wasn't in Athens they'd probably reply that the cops are just doing undercover work and trying to blend in amongst demonstrators like the french police do. Obviously they're not doing it very well because they're milling around with the cops but if this is going to convince more people then there needs to be more evidence, like patches on the clothes of the fascsists, names, known faces liaising with police.

Like i say such an holy alliance wouldn't surprise me in the slighest but there needs to be more information and intelligence to back this up.
