Argentinian band May Suyai anticipated World Finantial Chrisis in a song in 2004.

Singer of May Suyai, the Argentinian Jorge Daher, mentioned the current finantial chrisis
in a song called. "Watch your forehead, hide your hand".

When asked about this song and
his statement about world´s situation, Daher said that this song is the prelude of events
to happen as a consequence to this global chrisis, he also said that when appropriate moment
comes, he will explain the lyrics to this song.

Daher, who is also a writer, had finished his book "Mijlov y un lejano paraje". When asked
about his poor english pronountiation and why he sings in English, he just said. "Message is
what it takes, messenger someday will passaway". It seems to be a new master is on his way
At the moment, I just can say that Daher, had foreseen this chrisis in a time, that Capitalism
globalization, and occident cultures were enjoying the day to day growing, and noone could
think that currents fact were likely to happen.

Ah, come on. People have been expecting a burst in the cycle of economic boom for quite some time. From before 2004. I remember talking about it with people at uni back in 1999 - we didn't know when, but we knew it would happen. The similarities between the late 1920s and today were striking to everyone with an interest.

Quite right! The issue was only ever "when" not "if". My guess in 2000 was 2004-6, so I was a year or two out. The characteristics present now which did NOT apply in the 1920s are just as striking as the similarities.

It is a bit tedious that some people are now claiming unique prescience for having perceived the bleedin' obvious a few years ago. I don't know this band and have nothing against them, but we also have 9/11 conspiracy nuts jumping on the bandwagon and using previous reasonable foresight to retro-validate their current deranged "truth".

That is really eerie. Loads of other people may have anticipated rumblings in the capitalist system, but NONE I repeat NONE specifically related them to watching your forehead and hiding your hand. If only we'd listened......
