Police injured at Climate Camp

anon | 15.12.2008 16:15 | Climate Chaos | Repression

Not...

Just in case anyone missed this little gem..
Under the Freedom of Information Act, those lib dem folks found that the '70 injured officers' at Climate Camp this year, had no injuries resulting from contact with protestors (shame).
Instead, 'injuries' were listed as
"stung on finger by possible wasp"
"Officer injured sitting in car"
"Officer succumbed to sun and heat". Six had insect bites, three with toothache, others cut their fingers or had diaorrhoea. Interestingly, one "used leg to open door and next day had pain in lower back". (see Guardian newspaper)

Their complaints were surely exaggerated to justify the £5.9 million spent on policing the camp. When I think of the naked aggression those bastards showed, regardless of the children present, reading this list makes me want to laugh and cry.

Don't forget the injuries they very deliberately inflicted on us

... and then reflect on how none of us was provoked into injuring any of them even by their sickening use of violence.
