Greece is a police state where the citizenry, immigrants, students, refugees and others fear the police! Toppling the government must not be our only goal. Disarming the 'rank and file' police force will be another important step.

The daughter of Thalia Dragonas, a politician of the PASOK 'socialist' party admits that she is scared of MAT (the Greek riot police). In the UK, she says, police are nice, but here she feels unsafe even to approach them or ask the time.

This from a child very much of the establishment, her mother a politician, her father a big business man.

This is not a rumour, I know them personally, well. We do not just need to topple the government responsible for all this, we need to ensure, NO MORE DEATHS AT HANDS OF POLICE.

how direct economic & social democracy can be implimented rather than just another 5 yr sand shift. Proper returnable delegates for every community in provincial up to national parliaments as Bakunin wrote in Revolutionary catechism. As for the police many of them need to be put in civilian positions, there will be a need for some kind of force though to monitor things so a complete overhaul of police is necessary.
