Sheffield Homes to ask tenants whether they agree

Tenants of the Adamsfield tower on Bolsover str. (city council homes) have been informed about a request from O2 to the city council to install a 3G mobile phone mast on the roof of the tower.
Before giving its authorisation, the city council asked Sheffield Homes to ask the tenants whether they have any concerns about the specific issue.
On Wednesday coming (3/12), 3.00-6.00 p.m. Sheffield Homes and O2 representatives will visit Adamsfield tower so tenants may present to them any concerns.

Any experience by anti-mast initiatives in Sheffield from similar cases would be useful to the tenants. (as sooner the better).

Institute for Science in Society has had reports

of honey bees being found dead in masses around 3g masts & having to be swept,if you have any further reports please contact them& other no 3g mobile campaigns. Masts shouldnt not be located on peoples homes, check the SAR specific absorbption rate on your mobile, this is a rating designed by engineers for safety. **kias always seem to have the lowest rating & have chargers that are standardised, if you need to use a mobile, its advised to keep it in a back pocket.
Good to see resistance in Sheffield
