Demo called at Amey HQ

No Borders and Campaign against Immigration Controls have called a demo at Amey HQ in Oxford in response to their sacking of several cleaners for trade union involvement, and their general attempt to force worse conditions and pay on the workers, using intimidation and deportation.
In September this year 5 migrant cleaners were sacked by Amey Plc for "bringing the company into disrepute" (ie for belonging to a trade union and leafletting other staff with information about what was happening). Since them they have had their appeal against dismissal rejected.
The demo is specifically in solidarity with them but also in protest at Amey's general attitude of bullying its staff by various means in order to reduce pay and conditions.
