it's because they posted up the address of a guy involved in SHAC demos and were posting other info about SHAC activists on the blog. Most of this was in the public domain anyway - through myspace, etc. but the guy's address definitely wasn't.

If animal rights activists were to post this kind of info (and, yes, it has happened before) they would be arrested and the website taken down immediately. Apart from this, it was a pretty funny website to read, but not many people were paying attention to it in the end - better things to do! I updated myself and mates about once a fortnight... interesting how very little of it was to do with SHAC specifically - like the name would suggest it would be about - they should have called themselves "AR watch" but then, they were crap at keeping an eye on just one campaign (despite the fact the SHAC website had loads of info on demos, etc. on it), so they would have had their work cut out for them trying to watch an entire movement.

Maybe they reported themselves anonymously 'cause they realised they weren't doing very well but didn't have the balls to admit it and just stop posting.
