We are fast reaching the point of no return, and whatever we save now will be all that will be saved.

The hour is indeed very late.

On Saturday 6 December, people will be marching in more than 70 countries for action to save the planet for future generations.

The March on Parliament has four main themes -
1) NO to a 3rd runway at Heathrow and the runaway expansion in aviation expansion.
2) NO new coal - no new coal-fired power stations as planned at eg Kingsnorth in Kent
3) NO to the expansion of agrofuels - with negative impacts on forests, the climate and world food supply.
4) YES to a renewable energy revolution and green jobs

It will take place during the UN talks on Climate Change in Poland.

Particularly significant will be the marches and protests in the Global South.

We will be forming an anti-capitalist contingent to say "Social Change not Climate Change" - Look out for the red and black flags outside the US embassy!
