Mr. Mahmoud Alkhuzendar, head of the petroleum stations society in Gaza , announced today that nearly 53,000 gallons of crude oil , Israel allowed in yesterday only generates electricity for 30 hours.

An Israeli military court postponed today trial of the leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Ahmad Sa'adat. The trial has been repeatedly called off since Sa'adat was arrested by the Israeli army from Palestinian custody under British-American supervision in March 2006.

Sa'adat was accused by Israel of orchestrating an assassination of late Israeli tourism minister, Rahba'am Zeivi. Zeivi was killed by the PFLP, following the Israeli army assassination of PFLP's former leader, Abu Ali Mustafa in the West Bank city of Nablus in the same time period.

At the political level, the United Nations' Security Council is expected to convene today to discuss the Palestine Questions, particularly latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.
