I dont know all the ins and outs but this appears to be a hearing in relation to yet more soul-less flats being built in Castlefield - this inparticular on the site of the Jackson's Wharf pub and possibly the green space next to it. Peel Holdings/architect Ian simpson have tried and been rejected and keep trying.
You may be aware that Castlefield has taken a turn over the past few years and building there has escalated to a scale that is well...just plain crazy. With many of the flats already there that haven't been let/sold and recreational space being gobbled up.
