Hassall by name - hassle by nature.

An Inspector with Cheshire Police states quite plainly that he is to detain people just because they don't like the look of them. The attitude he exhibits is very disturbing and it isn't a good idea to visit Nantwich in Cheshire where he operates. You may be detained for "a lengthy stay at the Police ststion" without having committed any offence.

Robert Hassall is an Inspector in Cheshire Police. He rules the town of Nantwich, about 5 miles from Crewe. Nantwich likes to promote itself as a quaint old market town, frequented and occupied by the "Cheshire Set".

The council is run by, and for the benefit of, the corrupt Freemasons of the Willaston Lodge, some 3 miles away. In recent years, Nantwich has seen some disastrous property building and the speculators have had vast profits. Planning permission has been given to fellow, "Brothers" irrespective of the suitability of development and usual planning constraints. Indeed the Brothers on the council have been known to put up others as a front to do these and then take the profits themselves. In addition, certain members of this Lodge have had their fingers in the council "till" and all manner of dubious transactions for private gain. Despite the fact, Inspector Hassall and Cheshire Police have been asked to investigate, they have declined to do so.

Then in the latest issue of "Talk of the Town", the spurious propaganda sheet published by Nantwich Town Council and its cohorts, Inspector Hassall has a column for his own opinions. In this, he states that Cheshire Police has, " the ability to monitor the town CCTV system in tandem with the town centre radio link". Then he continues to say, " This works very effectively in real time reporting of incidents or suspicious persons in the town. There are people who look at a map and think that targetting a rural town like Nantwich will be easy pickings. They soon find out that this is not the case and this sometimes entails a lengthy stay at the Police Station until we ascertain who they are and gather evidence of who is involved in committing crime".

So, be warned if you visit Nantwich and the locals don't like the look of you (or even live there and your face doesn't fit) Inspector Hassall and Cheshire Police consider they can hold you in custody without any grounds to do so. You don't have to commit a crime, or even intend any criminal activity, anyone Inspector Hassal considers looks a bit shifty, or undesirable, will be locked up, "for a lengthy stay" in Nantwich Police Station.

Inspector Hassall and Cheshire Police are known for their cowboy attitude and this is written proof of their "town sheriff" approach. Individuals who are disliked by the local Freemasons being targetted in particular.

In doing this, Cheshire Police demonstrate that they have no knowledge of the Human Rights Act, Criminal Law, or the fundamental principal of English Law, ie an individual is innocent until proven guilty in a fair trial in a court of law. Inspector Hassall makes it clear that he is happy to lock up people on a whim.

Pity the perpetrators of most of the local crimes of substance are never questioned, let alone locked up. Then they belong to the local Masonic Lodge as do Inspector Hassal and most of Cheshire Police.

IPCC

Sounds like they need to be reported to the IPCC. Some of these charcters forget they are public servants, being paid for by us, the taxpayer. Talk about getting above your station! Anyone who is locked up for no reason should certainly put in a formal complaint to the IPCC. I wonder if this Inspector is anything to do with the Cheshire Hunt? Police forces, with friends involved in certain activities, turning a blind eye to illegal hunting activities is another issue we should be concerned about, They seem to forget they are there to enforce the law not make it up or break it themselves.

Police Cover Up Comittee.

To Anon,

I don't know what makes you think that the IPCC will do anything to address Police errant behaviour. As we know, don't forget Charles De Menenzes and very many more, the Police succeed in everything from false imprisonment to murder with total impunity. No matter what they do, the Police Cover Up Committee, say they are in no way at fault.

Cheshire Police are renown for their support of the Cheshire Hunt. As a former Hunt Sab I am vouch for this from personal experience. Don't forget the death of Mike Hill, killed by a hunt supporters trailer. They got away with it then too.

It would be true to say that they are a bunch of fascists, blood sports supporters and corrupt Freemasons.

Best policy is non cooperation, personally I wouldn't give them the time of day.
