The British National Party has elected its first district councillor in Lincolnshire after winning a by-election in Boston, Lincolnshire.

This isn't good news. Does anyone have any dirt on this scumbag?

David Owens won the seat by a 138-vote margin over Carl Smith of the Boston By-pass Independent Party.

So the BNP wins a by-election for the first time in four years. Big deal. No doubt we'll hear the usual speeches about how this is the beginning of the BNP's meteoric rise to power (yawn) but it will just tootle along annoying everyone until it fizzles quietly out of existence like a damp firework. Excuse my language, but fuck the BNP and all who are associated with it.

Is this the same Dave Owens that used to be active in Yorkshire and did a programme a few years back from some society calling for a memorial plaque being laid in Yorkshire.
remember seeing the programme and thinking how the fash love to get on tv shows dave owens on a historical society programme and eddie morrisson on cant cook wont cook with of all people ainsley herriot.
Next it will be old nick gwiffin on queer eye for a straight guy.

To Steve: Looks like you're "haveing" some trouble there and English is YOUR second language!

Seriously, try getting some perspective - or maybe just a grip on reality!

English is not the second language at the school (I mean, this can be factually established - the lessons are taught in English!), so to say such a thing is nothing but reactionary garbage.

Besides, having a bitter racist for a parent is infinitely more damaging than a bit of exposure to people from other cultures. If anything, realising that there are many sorts of people in the world and finding a common humanity with all of them is immensely beneficial to the mind of an inquisitive child.

What are you so scared of? Your child growing up and (gasp!) actually accepting people with different coloured skin? That'd be one up on dad, anyway!

This is the same guy who ran in the recent byelection on Lincolnshire County Council (Bourne Abbey ward). He got 13% coming 3rd and beating Labour. Mind you, beating Labour in that little corner of the world is hardly difficult.

So it seems that Mr O is the BNP's man in Lincolnshire.
