The Campaign to Make Wars History
Prosecuting Bush and Blair for Genocide
Public Meeting (free)
Friday 21st November, 7.00pm
Indian YMCA, 41 Fitzroy Square, London W1
(nearest tube Warren Street)
with Chris Coverdale, members of Make Wars History &
Steven McLaughlin, author of 'Squaddie: A Soldier's Story'.
At least 1 million people, including 300,000 children, have died violently in the wars with Iraq and Afghanistan. This mass murder of innocent people, killed solely because they were citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan, is a crime of genocide in English, American and International law. Not only must the killings be stopped but the perpetrators of this atrocity must answer for their crimes in court.
This meeting will cover the unlawful nature of the wars with Iraq and Afghanistan and the feelings of the soldiers directly involved; the war crimes that have been committed, the legal cases against Bush and Blair for genocide, the corrupt practice in the Metropolitan Police, the Crown Prosecution Service and the Judiciary that is perverting the course of justice, the next steps towards war crimes trials and what citizens can do to force Britain’s war criminals to answer for their war crimes in court.
