Sixth attempt to remove Alliance Ngondiop

John O | 13.11.2008 15:13 | Migration | Social Struggles | Workers' Movements

Alliance Ngondiop, a Cameroon national and resident of Leicester, was 'Captured' when reporting to the Immigration service on Wednesday 3rd September and is currently detained in Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre and due to be forcibly removed from the UK on British Airways flight BA302 on  Saturday 15th November @ 06:15 from Heathrow Airport London, to Paris, Charles de Gaulle airport, then Air France flight AF940 @ to Douala Cameroon.

A private solicitor is acting on Alliance's behalf and has submitted a fresh claim However the Home Office reject almost 99% of fresh claims. If enough people put pressure on the right points of the removal chain we may be able to stop it again. If she is refused the only other option is to apply for Judicial Review through the solicitor today however most of her funds have gone towards the fresh claim so we can not pay the solicitor to do it. If you wish to donate towards funding a Judicial Review for Alliance you can do so at  http://alliance.terryburton.co.uk/donate.html

Please support Alliance in her fight to stay in the UK where she has community ties. She should not be forced back to her country to suffer more abuse, stigmatization, isolation, or threats to her life by an abusive family. There is no guarantee that the police in Cameroon will protect her from abuse, given the level of corruption that exists in the police force in that country today, which human rights reports have highlighted as a major problem in Cameroon. This will be the sixth attempt to remove Alliance.

Background: Alliance Ngondiop Must Stay!
