Today | Peasants from Cornwall to Revolt against Parliament | Assemble Hyde Park

Wat Tyler | 01.11.2008 08:54 | Ecology | Social Struggles

Assemble Hyde Park
10.30 am - 12.30pm Speeches and Discussions
12.30 pm march to Parliament

Look for Trailer with PA (presumably we will be somewhere near Speakers Corner but we ain't from around these parts, so you'll have to come find us)

We are living in a fractured society. Our citizens and communities suffer from the financial burdens of unsustainable action (war) and we are entering a time where fear, security and threat are constant. We are extremely concerned about our natural habitat and receive conflicting information relating to the impacts of global change. Governments are not standing up to challenges in a way that encourages overall public confidence and social stability. It is with regret that there is little to suggest that our government is addressing deep community concerns,in particular ‘future for our next generations’.

We must have voice !!!

The Parliament is supposed to be the Commons but it blatantly is not. Come along to meet activists from outside London to work out/plan/begin to organise how we are to fight to make a sustainable, democratic society together.

Organised by Celtic Heritage, based in Cornwall
