It has been suggested that all activists unite to break socpa

reason | 30.10.2008 16:51 | SOCPA | Indymedia | Repression | Social Struggles | World

this is a common cause behind which all can unite. socpa is absurd.

the 11th of every month has been suggested until socpa is repealed. people are putting their thinking caps on and coming up with innovative ways to break this ridiculous irony. games/dances have been suggested like the okie cokie ("You put your left leg in, your left leg out, in out, in out, shake it all about... you do the okie cokie and you turn around... thats what its all about... whhoooooo the okie cokie")

do you mean activists from different groups, eg environmental, anti fascist, anti war, animal rights, class struggle, etc all going to 1 big demo?
I've thought about this before, it would be fucking brilliant, but would people turn up?

Brillo idea...

This is a really brill idea, definitely someone should organise something like this.

So many of us campaign across social movements and they are all so closely linked. What happens to one will, eventually, happen to all - as starting to be seen from animal rights laws and police hysteria. If we lie down and let them do this, they will have a forumla that wins.. this will be applied to other movements too. United we can stand even stronger against the facist, racist and exploititive forces at work. :)

ONE STRUGGLE ONE FIGHT

SOCPA

Yes, I quite agree SOCPA is absurd when i think most people who stop and think know the worst organized criminals in the country are the police and politicians. The only way to stop SOCPA is solidarity and resistance
