9/11 Questioned In Japan`s Parliament

)!!BLOGGER | 29.10.2008 05:43 | Anti-militarism | Terror War | Birmingham

On October 22, 2008, Yukihisa Fujita, Congressman for the Democratic Party of Japan made a 20 minute speech on the floor of the Japanese Diet or House of Representatives. For the third time this year he directly questioned the official version of 9/11

At the same time he called on the government to stop all support for the US-led military operations. After presenting reports of heavy civilian and military losses in Iraq and Afghanistan he went on to describe the Kucinich impeachment debate in US-Congress and its wide support by representatives of the House. In detail he listed the particular reasons for impeachment, that US-Congressman Dennis Kucinich presented to congress this summer. He also reported on Ron Pauls demands for impeachment and new 9/11 investigations.
Fujita emphasized that there was never an official police investigation into the deaths of the 24 Japanese citizens who were killed on 9/11, he then talked about questions put forward by japanese victim`s families of 9/11 to the former Prime Minister Koshimizu and asked why the government never responded.
This time there was no public broadcast of his 20 minute speech on NHK television. It was the third time since January, that Yukihisa Fujita voiced his doubts about 9/11 on the floor of the japanese parliament.

Fujita is a member of the Democratic Party of Japan which is the main opposition party, holding a majority in the Upper House of Parliament and has 36 % of the seats in the Lower House, the more powerful house. Mr. Fujita`s calls for a new investigation are backed by his party leadership. He made also presentations to members of other parties.
Yukihisa Fujita is currently working to form an international coalition to demand an independent, international 9/11 investigation and has been in contact with politicians in Europe and the US.

Not interested.

For several years now the truthers have been bombarding IMC UK and other sites with this rubbish. When are you lot going to get the message? WE DON'T CARE! Surely by now the 9/11 brigade must have realised that most us have a far more sane formula for fighting the power than a desperate desire to prove a conspiracy. The fact that you lot are associated with plenty of right wing racists and antisemites does not help your case either.

One more thing. Since when was indymedia interested in the rantings of a member of a hierarchical party of a capitalist state? Is that "grassroots news"??

Yawn

Recurrent nutter alert

29.10.2008 11:48

Every few months, the same nutter in the Japanese parliament spouts off about this. Since when does this "prove" anything?

More yawn

It's not grassroots news

29.10.2008 12:59

I really think any questioning of history is out of place on indymedia and just adds to the cluttering of the newswire with non-news. If this were Japan Indymedia or New York Indymedia perhaps there would be some connection, even then I sould say it's not really news. But this is Indymedia UK, it's not News, it doesn't relate to anything happening in the UK, so surely it is in the wrong place.

Relevant, of course it is relevant

29.10.2008 13:31

The crimes of 911 affect everybody including the UK. The global financial crisis is in part linked to the Jewish funded, neocon attack that was 911 - how about that ?

I am glad to say that Indymedia UK is still one of the places where those who can recognise the attempts by Jews to control the world's oil supplies are still allowed to post. Long may it continue.

911 truth now

911 The reality

29.10.2008 13:57

Indymedia UK is one of the few places which has not been the subject of what amounts to a news blackout of any view which questions the official explanation of the events of 911 , and it is an explanation full of contradictions and inaccuracies which leaves more questions than rational answers but I find it most interesting that the NOT INTERESTED merchants are always so swift in their reaction , perhaps they should be investigated as well...

Nod off

29.10.2008 14:38

Instead of just yawning why not drop off into a deep sleep and don't bother to wake up.
I am not indymedia I just read articles that interest me published people unknown to me hopefully with other links that I can go and check out.
I don't need any advice from some dozy half brain dead twat, and as 9 11 is probably one of the most important events of my life time I am always very interested to read as much as possible. I'll decide for myself wether or not it's bullshit thank you very much..

Wide Awake

Enough from these fucking neo-nazi scum

29.10.2008 14:45

We are looking at a new wave of anti-capitalist struggle, which will hopefully find resonance with the rising climate change movement. The time when we could tolerate these conspiracy theorists hanging around our movements drawing people into far right politics is well and truly over. With neo-nazi's trying to exploit the crisis and scapegoat Jews and immigrants we live in dangerous times and we need complete separation between our critiques and actions and theirs. Just look at the comment above blaming the Jews for the financial crisis. Have you ever been to the city of London you fucking barmpot.

No tolerance of conspiracy theorists and right wing nut jobs in our spaces, physical and virtual. They should live in utter fear of coming into contact with us just as the BPP and BNP do. And they should have no space on Indymedia and our other websites.

I've had enough of this.

I've had enough of people like you

29.10.2008 15:11

Hey "I've had enough of this".

what say one person makes a racist anti-semitic assertion, and then his associate lambasts this to question the credibility of anyone who raises the issue of 911. Textbook spook activity.

Anyone who questions 911 is labelled anti-semite, as is anyone who confront's the excesses of Israel's state terrorism. It is a convenient check on speculation which some would rather didn't take place.

Japanese MP asks about increased tin foil sales in Osaka

29.10.2008 17:06

Now that Indymedia UK is, at long last, beginning to focus upon covering the proceedings of the Japanese parliament may I bring to your attention a question recently asked there about the ten-fold increase in tin foil sales in the Osaka region. I believe that the increased demand is being led by the long suffering Japanese millinery industry.

I wish others would contribute so that we could ensure that Indymedia's coverage of the Japanese parliament can be truly comprehensive. This will mean that Indymedia is finally fulfilling its remit.

What about Japanese county council minutes?

29.10.2008 17:18

Surely Indymedia UK should publish the full minutes of Japanese county coucil meetings too. Other wise how are we to organise around the financial crisis or climate change here in Britain?

I'm led to believe that a question was asked recetly in the Shinduko local council about the increasing size of trouser leg widths in the Osaka region. The answer seems to lie in increasing amount of Loon pants in Japan. Some people think its a conspiracy - they are known locally as conspiraloons.

The relevance of this posting is not immediately obvious...

29.10.2008 17:29

which is why we should congratulate the moderators for looking deeply into the issue and finding some relevance to Indymedia UK that I for one can't find. No honestly the fact that a Japanese MP is a 9/11 conspiracy theorist must have some deep relevance to the anti-capitlaist movement in the UK or else it would have been junked. So thanks for all the hard work keeping irrelevant spam off the news wire. It must be a lot harder work than it seems. From the outside I would have thought it would be a simple job of removing posts like this but it evidentally is a lot more complicated.

Three cheers for the moderators

I'm not a 911 conspiracy theorist but still think it is good to have it here

29.10.2008 20:20

I don't believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy theory but I still think it is good to have some stories about it on here, just for an alternative point of view.

anon

hmm

30.10.2008 16:37

I hear what youre saying anon but with this type of shyte being promoted to the front page it causes to much division and is just a distraction from issues we CAN do something about.

In all the truth movement is for people who want some small level of fame, it's not about the truth, it's about how many views you can get on youtube.

just about
