Novartis knockdown in Liverpool
SHAC UK | 28.10.2008 23:17 | SHAC | Animal Liberation | Liverpool
A team of activists, along with some new faces gathered outside the Liverpool Novartis as part of the day of action against them! It was the most visual demo yet, with lots of new plaquards on display, showing the passing public and staff inside exactly what Novartis do to animals. Not to mention our huge banner making it perfectly clear the link between Novartis and cruel HLS.
Oh and the sea of yellow jackets that stood outside the site - 8 cops and 8 security guards helped draw attention to us! We received beeps of support from the passing traffic and gave out leaflets to pedestrians. We braved the rain and hail storm (unlike the cops and security that made a sudden dash for their vehicles!) Because for as long as animals suffer, people with a conscience, people who care will take to the streets no matter what the weather, no matter what the state throws at us and demonstrate until all are free.
