On behalf of The United Families and Friends Campaign | 23.10.2008 15:14 | Anti-racism | Repression
The United Families and Friends Campaign is a coalition of relatives of people who have died in all forms of custody - police, prison, immigration and psychiatric. Every October the UFFC organises a march by families of people who have died in custody from Trafalgar Square to Downing Street in rememberance of their loved ones.
The tenth rememberance procession is scheduled for Saturday 25 October 2008. The event starts at Trafalgar Square in London (nearest tube: Charing Cross) at 1pm, walking in silent procession along Whitehall to Downing Street. The procession will then continue to Parliament Square for a rally outside the Houses of Parliament. People joining the procession are asked to dress in black.
