London Basque Committee invite you to this public meeting with the intention of presenting an alternative account of the political situation in the Basque Country.

Torture And Political Trials-Member of BEHATOKIA
BEHATOKIA (Basque Observatory of Human Rights )
works before courts and international tribunals interposing imputations where fundamental rights have been violated and confronting the pertinent Spanish and French institutions who have not corrected such situations. On top of it, a substantial part of BEHATOKIA's work will be based on the spreading of information regarding the violations of fundamental rights by the institutions.

Conflict Resolution -Member of the Abertzale Left
Spain has banned all Abertzale parties, closed down newspapers and radio. Persecuted social and cultural organisation in the Basque Country. Ignoring the demand of self determination and refuse to engaged in peace talks with ETA.
The Abertzale Basque parties still advocating for a peace process even with the leadership in prison and their activities banned.
