The BPP's massive national mobilisation turned out to be a rather damp squib. 11 fascists (including a kid) huddled together outside HMV protected by lines and lines of cops. around 400 anti-facsists were joined by scores of locals who, on being told what was happening, stayed to say that the BPPs filth won't be accepted in Yorkshire.

For the first few hours the anti-fascists spent their time chanting, jostling for space, pushing the police lines back towards HMV and pondering where the fash were. A few people were arrested (according to the info I heard) and several people were attacked by the cops. A Section 60 was in place and cops were violently ripping of scarves and hoods and face coverings.

Eventually people began to decide that the BPP weren't going to show and those outside of the police lines started to slowly disperse. Rather luckily (in a bizarre way) the bulk of the people present were either penned in or unwilling to leave the people in the pen so the majority of the crowd were still around when the lads and lass of the vanguard of Britain's Race War trickled in.

Their 'handful of guys with a megaphone' chanting was completely drowned out by the chorus of booing and chanting from the assembled anti-fascists. After less than an hour they realised that they were completely wasting their time and asked to escorted away by the cops. A few people dashed round the buildings in time to see them being driven away in taxis (ironically by asian taxi drivers). The fash were booed and spat at but the numbers around the side weren't enough to get at the fash past cops with batons out. So far as I know, everyone made it home safe without any trouble from wondering facists.

I saw no coppers with batons drawn nor did I see any one spitting on the 'fash', what time did this happen? I was there from eleven o'clock and stayed until the 'fash' left.

I was wondering if the BPP would like to offer me a compensation payment, i laughed so hard when i saw all 10 of them being driven away with a police escort in taxis driven by asian lads that my sides actually split, i had to have 82 stitches and i'm now recovering in hospital, doctors say i'll probably never laugh so hard again in my lifetime!

The counter demo was a resounding success. The reason no Fascists were physically attacked was because the very few that turned up were protected at all times by their mates in the police. And their so called "street warriors" didn't even make it.

How many leaflets did they hand out?

All the people of Leeds saw was a handful of oddjobs shaking like a shitting dog behind rows of police. Infact many of the ordinary people of Leeds joined ion the chanting and taunting of McDermodius and her band of bollock-brains which means we got the very people they were trying to convert to their cause to laugh at them and oppose them. A success in anyone's book. And will HMV stop selling black rap CD's because of this demo? Not a chance!

The RVF and all the other wannabe paramilitaries failed to turn up, there were one or two meat heads who sought refuge behind the police before leaving leeds on their toes long before the pathetic excuse for a demonstration failed to get their point across outside HMV. The fact that you try to salvage anything positive from this debacle is an indication of just how deluded you people are, i'd suggest you refer yourself to social services but i fear it's too late.

I've heard figures ranging from 350 too 600 of your members being there now I sure if you really, really wanted you could have surged forward and got a few digs in.

Watcher, there may have been a few boneheads scattered around, some were definately keeping a low profile behind police lines but by all accounts they scurried off when they knew they'd been spotted. I'm sure if the anti-fascists had wanted to they couldve had an all out ruck with the 100 odd police who were there in order to try and get at the nazis but that would hardly have been sensible, of course if that fat cow hadn't begged for half of yorkshires constabulary to turn up to protect her then the anti-fascists could have done this anyway. Having said that looking at the shape of the BPP i think half of them wouldve have heart attacks if we'd broken through the lines! They'd probably try and claim that as a victory too!

Tell the truth in here no more fabrications the Bummers Piss Pot party do enough of that.
There were people with concerns in Leeds on the day that would not touch the BPP with a barge pole especially seeing their own methods of loyalty and the gimps that make it up.
Grassers that they are that aint got a fight between them without hiding behind the Police.
There were certain elements in town that day watching and if it had kicked off they'd have piled in not to save that fat slags back though nor the Hunchback hairball of Leeds.
If you are going to tell the truth on here without fabrication say it how it really is, there were a lot of locals and shoppers denouncing the Antifascist elements and saying what a bunch of scruffy idiots they were and equally the same denouncing the Bummers Piss Pot party.
