The Vegan Prisoners Support Group DID NOT put this post up. Indeed they did not know about the arrests I have just checked directly with them!In fact it is VPSG policy to only put information on their own website and they do not put up info about arrests.Shac watch have already put up details of arrestees weird as only the police would have known about this! To label those arrested as ALF is not wise at as this could be used against those arrested. That combined with the fact that the poster has claimed that they are from the VPSG when they are not is a bit dodgy.

no one from the VPSG posted this
17.10.2008 17:29
This news must have been posted by a troll, police agent, or other pro animal abuser, since no-one at the VPSG has heard about this until now. And the VPSG would never refer to things like this as "ALF arrests".

A report has already been posted

This report should be ignored as it is highly incorrect and a more accurate report has already been posted.

Here for example somebody called “Pat from Veggies” who is not a known Indy moderator has decided to remove all references to warnings and infiltration information
http://lists.indymedia.org/pipermail/imc-uk-moderation/2008-October/1006-ia.html
About this post which contained important warnings and facts
http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2008/09/408433.html?c=all
Secondly a post detailing facts of what had happened.
http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2008/10/410928.html?c=all
As predicted by a poster quickly hidden by somebody in the UK Kollective but not posted to the Moderation lists as required by the rules – see here

Third Instance……
Some people claimed that nobody had been arrested in Hampshire then we get this
http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2008/10/411091.html
Confirmation !
It seems that some people today are now under arrest when they could have avoided it because unnamed individuals within or associated with Indymedia decided to hide the information.
We need to know who did this and why.

1. Learn to spell
2. Learn to think up some better names
3. Learn to think for yourselves.
Those arrested should never under any circumstances be labelled as part of any group, as this implies a variety of problematic things. Obviously done deliberately though as the previous poster also did the same regarding nothern raids. Anyone with respect or concern for those involved certainly would not be posting messages about them labelled as part of a much sought after "criminal" group. It's quite obvious and your little tricks won't be tolerated around here.

The Hampshire arrests

Which was incorrect.
The raids happened earlier today.
Which means obviously it much have been a copper who posted about the Portsmouth raid before it had even happened.
