Halloween Action in Cardiff

The Ghost of Wat Tyler | 16.10.2008 15:44

Capitalism is bad black magick . . .

We have all heard the rumours that there is gonna be some kinda anti-capitalist demonstration or stop-the-city happening to do with the credit crunch on Halloween evening. Word on the street is if you hang around the Aneurin Bevan Statue at 5 pm you may be in a very good position to get involved with the action: the statue is on Queen Street near Bradford and Bingley Bank.

radical trick-or-treating? exorcising the demonic power of the banks? dancing on the grave of capitalism? a meeting of freaks and militants? a manic street meeting? people's theatre? symbolic executions? mind-bombs? free food and music and a party? a raggle taggle working class army determined to kick in the door to eden and storm the winter palace of capital? Keep your ears open for rumours - but remember: walls have ears, and ears have walls . . .

“Awake, thou sleeper on the Rock of Eternity ! Albion awake ! The trumpet of Judgment hath sounded” - William Blake
