Guardian newspaper dishonest and cowardly says Chomsky

A variety of Londoners particularly those who live in the East End share the disgust about the newspaper The Guardian. Indeed, since this time, we have maintained the vow not to buy the newspaper and its news on local issues has been shown to be wholly inaccurate, biased and morally reprehensible. We sympathise with Mr Chomsky and call on everyone to join us in looking to spread news in a creative but wholly different way... please see medialens for more information.

It's a reference to a piece which the Guardian publicly apologised about three years ago.
Someone at Medialens has got huffy because they recently posted something about it in the comments at the bottom an unrelated story by the same journalist on the Guardian site, and are outraged that (after leaving it up for 48 hours) the comment was deleted by mods because of its lack of relevance.
Boo hoo.
It's tempting to launch into a rant here about how murky Chomsky was on the original Guardian story. The paper was right to apologise for stating that he had used the word "massacre" in quotation marks. But Chomsky has supported Diana Johnstone who is quite happy to refer to put "massacre" in quotation marks. and he has defended LM, which suggested that aspects of it had been faked. Chomsky deserved to be challenged about that.
Far more drastic misquotes occur daily on Indymedia.

Agreed, but...

But the story in question relates to Bosnia, not Crossrail. If you want to cover the latter then a new story or new analysis/comment on old material would probably be better.
