Barclays on brink of collapse

Sharky | 12.10.2008 21:02 | SHAC | Animal Liberation | World

Barclays is in serious trouble and is expected to ask for major Government assistance tomorrow.

Barclays bank is on the brink of collapse as of Sunday night. It is expected to request a major finance injection from the British Government. This will part nationalise Barclays. One more major push from the likes of the ALF and SHAC and Barclays could be forced to drop all HLS shares (which have lost over a third of their value in less than a week anyway) and may even force them to drop their shares in NYSE.

Speaking of HLS their 3rd Quarter report is to show significant losses due to the strengthening dollar and also deep concerns over how their loans will be re-financed now that their share options are plummeting. Sometimes a credit crunch IS a good thing.
