Apparently, Nottingham City Council has £42 million pounds invested in Icelandic banks. Well they did have anyway. It is a little uncertain where it is now!

A demo is being called to assemble in the Market Square at 6pm on Monday 13th October. There might be expected to be some consequences of this loss, so unions are insisting on no job cuts, no council tax increase to pay for this loss and no cuts in council tax services
