Every day around the world, people risk their lives in the hope of establishing a better life overseas. Leaving or Dying is a powerful documentary that relives the emotional stories of 3 people as they ride a dangerous roller coaster in the process of migration.
There will also be short films about the detention centre network (the numerous jails in which 'failed' asylum seekers and 'illegal' migrants, are imprisoned indefinitely by the UK Government), and time for debate and discussion of the issues raised by the films.
