Fwd | 03.10.2008 12:01 | Migration | Repression
Amdani Juma, the Nottingham resident who was detained for deportation in May, will be at the High Court in London for the Judicial Review of his case on 14th Oct. His friends intend to travel down to support him.
Details of Amdani's case have been covered previously on this site: http://publish.indymedia.org.uk/en/regions/nottinghamshire/2008/05/399910.html
Article 8, that is to say Amdani's right to a family and private life, will form a greater part of the case than previously so we will hire a minibus again to get people there to show that he is part of our family! We aim to get there at 9am. We plan to have a presence outside the court.
Events
- This Saturday 4th there will be a Stall at St. Peter's from 12.00-2.00.
- This Sunday 5th we are trying to get Amdani's Film shown at Broadway, so watch this space. If we don't manage it we'll do somethiung with it next week.
- Next Saturday, 11th, there will be a Demo in the Market Square, time tba.
